![]() Maybe there can be an option under Settings to decrease the size of the HP bar and make the monster images bigger? Or an option so that instead of the HP bar and status icons being under the monster image and horizontal, they can be on the left side of the monster and vertical (if that makes sense), and then the monster image can be increased to fit the added room. Now that the mana bar is gone, it seems like there's a bit of extra room. This may seem silly, but I'd love for the pictures of my monsters to be larger in battle so I can see them better, especially since there's more customization now with fusion and apparently accessories in the future. I'm not sure if the item would be expensive, or maybe it would be affordable but you'd get less resources/item drops when it's used to help balance it out. Other times, I just want to casually explore the realms with less fighting, and that's always been difficult to do (unless there IS an option in previous games and I just missed it or never got to that point). Could there maybe be some sort of item you can use to decrease the number of enemies in a realm? This has been an issue for me from the beginning of Siralim sometimes, I'm all for fighting monster after monster. Rerolling the properties helps, but it's not a perfect solution. There have been plenty of times I'm just not in the mood for the shenanigans that realm properties throw at me, and it's kind of frustrating I can't disable them entirely. Can there be an option to toggle them on and off from the menu for free? That way, those who want the added challenge and item bonus can still easily access it, while those who want a more "typical", laid-back experience can turn it off (In exchange for no item bonus, of course). I'm admittedly not a fan of how realm properties are required. I have a few suggestions, if they help at all: I could go on, but I think you get the point: This is a fantastic game and I can't believe it's this well-done, especially considering it's only in alpha. I'd get frustrated with the mana in the older games this is a lot more fun and makes it more viable for various monsters to be spellcasters, which opens up more customization. It's a neat little feature that really makes them feel more alive again.Īlso, I'm happy to see mana is scrapped in exchange for spell charges instead. ![]() Love the ability to talk to your monsters, too-every time I add a new monster to my party or change its personality, I head over to talk to it and see what it says. I've had a ton of fun combining different traits together and experimenting with different looks. And the fusion makes the monsters feel so much more like your own, too. This new breeding system is ten times better and brings back that old excitement I'd get from breeding in DWM. One of my favorite things about Dragon Warrior Monsters is the breeding system, and I never felt like the Siralim games lived up to that before. Now, the realms really feel more like actual places with their own creatures.Īnd don't get me started on the new breeding system. That was a major gripe I had with the past games, that species could appear anywhere it made the realms almost feel like they didn't matter, and it could even be immersion-breaking at times. I also love how certain species only appear in specific realms now. They're all very unique and look appealing. The new monster species are some of the best in the whole series too, in my opinion. ![]() They breathe a lot of life into the series and really make the monsters "pop" more than before, and the fact there are less palette swaps is amazing. It all feels very sleek and modern, which I appreciate. It feels streamlined, but without cheapening the experience there's still a ton of depth, but it no longer feels spread out in random ways or difficult to access. Ultimate is different it's a massive step-up from Siralim 3, and I can see myself playing it for a crazy amount of time. A lot of the mechanics seemed overly convoluted to me and it felt like a struggle to keep playing. I've been playing the Siralim series from the beginning, and while I've enjoyed them, I've never really been able to sink tons of time into them. So, first off: I'm blown away by how good this game is.
